We are proud to announce that Prof. Dr. Branko Kolundžija was awarded the title of Professor Emeritus of the University of Belgrade on May 27th, 2026.
The title of Professor Emeritus represents one of the highest academic recognitions. It is awarded to professors who have made an outstanding and lasting contribution to scientific research, higher education, and the development of their academic field.
Throughout his academic and professional career, Prof. Kolundžija has made significant contributions to the fields of electromagnetics, numerical methods, antennas, and microwave engineering. His scientific work and dedication to education have influenced generations of students, researchers, and engineers.
Prof. Kolundžija’s work has also had a significant impact beyond academia. His scientific expertise, research, and innovative approach to solving complex electromagnetic problems have contributed to the development of WIPL-D software and its unique full-wave electromagnetic simulation technology.
As the founder and scientific leader of WIPL-D, Prof. Kolundžija has played a fundamental role in shaping the company’s technological direction and in developing solutions that enable engineers and researchers to efficiently analyze complex electromagnetic structures.
