This section describes some typical electromagnetic simulation benchmark examples. The details of the associated models are highlighted so that any benchmark structure presented can be accurately reproduced in most of the electromagnetic simulation software editors and the comparison with the simulation results from other programs easily made. Furthermore, the relevant details regarding the memory requirements and simulation time are also presented for each example.
