Microwave Imaging (MWI) that utilizes non ionizing radiation and affordable components has the potential to be used for detection of tumor/stroke/increased size lymph nodes inside human body parts.

Step-by-step stroke-detection scenario using MWI algorithm implemented into 3D EM simulation environment with library of phantoms and antennas is presented here.
